Happy Fourth of July! In a stunning reflection of how the Peninsula celebrates Independence Day, this Perfect Shot was captured on July 4, 2018, by photographer Charles “Charlie” Ginsburgh, looking northward along the Central Lake waterway toward Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City. As Charlie tells it, “The images were the result of long exposures (5-10 seconds) on a tripod-mounted camera taken during the nighttime fireworks display.
